FLAT FEET (Pes Planus)
What is FLAT FOOT?
The term flat foot (fallen arches) is very diverse and includes numerous conditions of flat feet. It is estimated that one in five people in Britain is affected by one or the other type of flat feet conditions. But not everyone needs an off-the-shelf insole. Normal foot arches provide support to hold the body weight, provide stability and allow a smooth gait. Any deformation to the feet arches can lead to collapsed foot structure, less stability, fatigue after walks even for short distances, severe pain in the middle of the foot and can cause pain in the knees, hip, and lower back.
Flat feet can be hereditary and may run in the family. They may also result from injury to bones and tendons, sometimes caused by illnesses, i.e., foot arthritis, diabetes, and neuromuscular diseases.
Insole Clinic's Insoles are ergonomically designed to optimize foot structure, improve comfort and let you walk stress-free.
Planter Fascittis is one of the most common heel pain conditions. About 10-12% of people will suffer planter fasciitis once in their lives.Planter fascias support the foot arch and absorb shocks during walk or run.
